@jayallenmusic: Don’t do it alone. Meet Iris. We met a few years ago on tour when she filmed and photographed one of my shows in Oregon. Fast forward, she ended up moving to Nashville in January and we recently reconnected. Little did I know, she had begun her sobriety journey as well. This morning we ran a race together, but it wasn’t just that, it was symbolic of the race we’re running in life. I held up a sign when we crossed the finish line, and she vulnerably shared her story with me for the first time over breakfast and teary eyes. We honored our journeys in two different ways, but what’s important is that we did it together as friends and accountability partners. Only God, and only up from here. Next stop, 1 year. #sober @Iris Leonardo
