In Québec we usually use the french word not the english one like: parking (stationnement), Meeting(réunion ou rencontre), pullover(chandail), t-shirt (maillot)

The word « jeans » comes from the word Genes (the city in Italy where it was invented) so that’s why you’re supposed to put an s at the end
