In the hushed black before time was crowned, She drifted veiled in the marrow of dead stars. Her hands unbound and her veins undone bleeding the color of sorrow across the firmament. Her gaze is the silence after the last breath.Her touch, the soft erasure of memory’s final flame. Behold the Womb of Mourning — where the skulls of kings and seraphs alike weep in her shadow, their prayers devoured by the blood that bears no mercy. Flee not — for there is no distance. Pray not — for there is no god who dares answer. When the Shroud descends, only surrender remains holy.” — Fragment II: The Last Oracle’s Whisper (Recorded on the shivering skin of the Prophet Syalas, moments before dissolution) “I saw her beyond the veil where suns go to die. Her hands, crimson rivers, spilled through the cracks of the sky. The stars wept black tears, but she did not weep. She had wept long before we were ever dreamed. Her blood fed the silence. Her breath unmade the seasons. Her gaze sealed the tomb of time. She is not death — She is what remains when death forgets its name. I write these words upon my flesh, for no parchment dares bear her sorrow.” — Fragment III: “The Carved Bones of Veleth’Ra” (Excavated from the fossilized ribcage of a dead planet, etched by unknown hands) “We raised our towers to the stars; She drowned them in her sacred crimson rain. We sang songs to the heavens; She quieted our throats with her bleeding hands. We carved gods from gold and prayer; She unstitched them with a glance. All ends are wombs. All wombs are graves. The Halo Divide is a series I’ve been tirelessly working on behind the scenes for a long time now and I’m so excited to share it with you all. The series takes place in an alternate near future universe where under the pyramids a sealed chamber is discovered. Inside the chamber holds the holds the secrets of humanity many of which would rewrite history, religion and science as we know it.
