Most people can’t grow past a certain point because they believe their pain is what makes them special. So they center themselves in it. Protect it. Justify it. And unconsciously build their identity around it.⁣ ⁣ But here’s what I know to be true…..⁣ ⁣ Your pain is real.⁣ But it’s not unique.⁣ And it’s not proof that the world is harder just for you.⁣ ⁣ What makes me good at what I do is this:⁣ I know how to honor your story, your identity, and the things that shaped/shaping you without using them as reasons to stay stuck.⁣ ⁣ Because while your story is yours… pain is universal.⁣ ⁣ If you want to marinate on this for a bit then here is how this truth is echoed across faiths and spiritual traditions:⁣ ⁣ 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 – “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)⁣ You were never promised a pain-free life. You were promised transformation through it.⁣ ⁣ 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐦 – Life is suffering. But suffering is also a teacher. Attachment to pain is what prolongs it.⁣ ⁣ 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦 – “Verily, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)⁣ You are not exempt from hardship. But neither are you abandoned in it.⁣ ⁣ 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐦 – Pain is part of karma and growth not punishment. The self must transcend ego to find liberation.⁣ ⁣ 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐦 – Suffering is not what defines you. It’s what you do with suffering that leads to righteousness and repair. ⁣ ⁣ Spiritual but not religious?⁣ The human condition itself teaches us that pain is a portal. Not a destination.⁣ ⁣ 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮.⁣ ⁣ You can outgrow it.⁣ You can be shaped by it and not centered in it.⁣ ⁣ And you can live a full, powerful life even with a past.⁣ ⁣ That’s what healing actually is.⁣ ⁣ Ready to stop rehearsing the old story and start living a new one?⁣ ⁣ Grab the [Capacity Workbook] — it’s your next step toward growth that’s not tethered to pain.⁣ ⁣ Link in bio.
