I also think it’s the difference between a singer & an artist. Linda Ronstadt primarily did covers but she made those songs her own. She knew her sound & her vocal power which influenced her music.

I don't think its so bad to pay tributes to famous rock stars I don't believe someone who was actually close to the singer and a member of the band would have played alongside him if it was an issue

I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time getting past your voice. You people get online and try to make like professional comments about say Benson and you don't even do your home work.The biggest faux pas is your comments about his music being forced.This is not true. if You learned more about Benson you would know his music is from him. Not forced. His Mom, Dad family friends lost loves he'll tell you how he came up with them. He has said as he grows his music will change and will take music lessons to safe guard his vocals. Listen to reactions on his ones, vocals and performances they have all given Benson outstanding accolades. I don't care for other artist, I stay off their tick tocks
