@mumsfoodies: Creamy Hummus Recipe ⬇️ The recipe for the XL baguette is on my page, let me know if you want it and can’t find it 🩷 230g cooked drained chickpeas (jar, tin or carton) Bicarbonate soda 120g tahini @alnakhilco.sal ALWAYS 🫶 1 x garlic clove 1/4 tsp cumin 1 x tsp salt 1.5 - 2 lemons squeezed 1 or 2 tbs olive oil 100ml ice cold water Start by draining & rinsing chickpeas in a sieve. Put them in warm water with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and soak for 10 - 30 min then rinse. Put 100ml of cold water in the freezer to get really cold. Peel the chickpeas, it will be super easy what the soak. I squeeze them gently between my fingers and let them fall into a clean bowl and throw the skin to the side. Once they’re skinned add all the other ingredients except the water and blend either with a hand blender or a food processor. I prefer the hand blender. Once it’s smoothish add some of the ice water 1 x tbs at a time and blend in between. Add as much as you like to create the consistency you like. I like it super creamy. Keep airtight in the fridge.
