400m is not long distance nor a sprint it’s lit. Middle distance so is the 800 but everthing above id long distance

I was a long distance runner in HS and the 400m was considered long distance. I did the 400m and the 4x400 and 4x800. didnt do the mile tho, which was nice lol

My 1st ever 400 was in the HS side of the Drake Relays. Our 400 guy got injured so coach subbed me in. I led for about 300 then the real runners took over. Still finished 5th but I about died.😏
