I did ONE☝️vendor event and it was my first and last. Poorly advertised event, ridiculous spot price, and I was selling baked goods and they gave away pastries AFTER INVITING ME. Never again.

I had this happen to me when my wife and I were vending at an "Easter" market. We weren't supposed to pack up early but myself and 3 vendors started packing up with 3 hours to go because there was no one there. 💀 My wife wanted to use the event producer's crash out as content but I convinced her not to.

the worse vendor event I went to ended up in a shooting and I swear a food truck saved every vendors life that day it was blocking the ehole place and took all the shots and was total but everyone came out alive they even found bits of a bullet right near where I was standing it was terrifying and I made no money that day

My favorite is when an event has a high vendor fee, but is horribly organized/not advertised at all and the organizer has the audacity to say if you pack up early you won’t be invited back uhhh ok lol

I had two events I made nothing at and one I donated a $100 tricky tray basket and was treated so poorly. The second one wasn’t even advertised so no one there made money except the crochet lady
