In my culture, you are allowed to wear any color you want. Sometimes the dress code is white for women. The brides are still the most shining ones in the party. And they're happy so see their guests in the most beautiful outfits.

In my culture and country anyone can wear white at a wedding even if you're not the bride or bridesmaids. At my 2 best friends' wedding, the bridesmaids including myself wore white and silver and the brides were dressed in red and gold. It doesn't matter to us if your colour clashes with the bride's. The whole "only the bride can wear white" is a Western culture but it doesn't apply to many other cultures
