Ain’t nothing wrong with a nice bat. Based off this video alone it does look a little heavy for him, so it may hinder developing a better swing. But enough reps he’ll eventually get stronger.

If you pitch underhand it will be more like the trajectory he will be seeing in a game. Underhand pitching for practice is just fine👍

he's holding the bat a bit too high, and his stance is opened the wrong way, if he fixes those problems, I'm sure he'll be a great hitter
