@tylerpath: I think most people perform the hanging leg raise incorrectly. Ideally, you should aim to curve your lower spine rather than simply raise your legs. Thus, the most intuitive cue to get the abs more involved (as opposed to your hip flexors) is to focus on tucking in your knees to your chest so that your glutes end up facing forward. #fyp #Fitness #gym #bodybuilding

you have to resist the legs coming down for this to impact abs, the raise doesn't engage much unless it's weighted.
