@ashallaboutmoney: Replying to @Ashlee Liedle this is why we want to focus on paying all of the credit card balances down when we’re looking to increase our credit score! #credit #score #tips #creditcard #card
We are doing the debt snowball just trying to pay it off quickly. Not worried about credit score just yet. But definitely great tips

Specifically for your credit scores: it’s calculated by a total limit and balance between all cards. HOWEVER, when banks look at your credit history, they look at both credit utilizations

What if we transfer all our cards to a 0% apr card? Only one is maxed out and the rest of the cards are zero utilization? Does that help?

I bought your spreadsheet and it has made things so much easier to look at and create a game plan everything was so overwhelming before I looked at it like this.

just payoff the statement balance each month. you will still have a running balance month to month if you don't stop using the card. it's not rocket science. your score will increase regardless

It’s true that individual utilization is considered in your credit score, but your overall utilization is weighted significantly higher (by a factor of ~3:1). I wouldn’t stress about it
