As a local I love the Monterey aquarium. It’s one of my favorite places to go to. Is it over priced? I suppose but a lot of the money goes to helping and preserving the ocean wild life! I personally love it though! I go every chance I get!

People are downplaying it. It’s all about perspective. When I went I was literally in awe. It took my breath away. Especially the big tank with the hammerhead. Truly amazing. Aquarium>Zoo.

all the hate on this place makes me sad💔 i have sonny great memories here! I love this place and no other one will ever beat it. it's also great that it focuses on rehabilitation and teaching than just being an aquarium.

Why’s everyone hating?? the aquarium is literally on a harbor w sea otters and kelp forests and massive trench it’s an epicenter for marine research it’s beautiful and so impressive
