I don’t think most people realise how much harm you can do to your body by constantly undereating mentally and physically 🥹 And this isn’t just about dieting but I’m seeing it more now with things like Ozempic too when your appetite drops so low that you’re barely eating enough to keep your body functioning. Add to that the rise of more hybrid style training, marathons, hyrox, high-output sessions, giving your body enough food is sooo so important 💕 Its like running a car, you can’t run it without fuel and expect your body to run and function without enough food  I used to be that girl when I was much younger skipping meals, eating as little as possible and thinking food would just make me “gain weight” Here’s what can actually happen when you keep eating too little: 1️⃣ Your body temp drops 
Your metabolism slows so much you feel cold all the time  2️⃣ Your thyroid takes a hit
T3 (the hormone that runs your metabolism) drops, leaving you drained and exhausted 3️⃣ Your period can disappear (even if you’re not underweight)
your body switches it off when it senses there’s not enough fuel to support a pregnancy 4️⃣ Bloating + constipation 
Slower digestion from under-eating  5️⃣ Your gut health suffers
Less fibre + nutrients starve your good bacteria and more cravings + inflammation 6️⃣ Your mood drops 
Not eating enough can lead to anxiety, low mood and constant irritability 7️⃣ Slower recovery + weaker immunity 🤧
