Mine grow too large for this. Each Tomato plant gets it's own t post and a I secure the plant to it with jute

My tomatoes were so large and plants got to 6 ft tall last yr. The string methods didn't work. I'm gonna go back to cages this yr just incase they turn into hulk mater plants again lol

I do the same thing but not going more than 3 plants per post. Weight becomes a factor later in the season.

Good idea! I fabricated my tomato baskets and works very well with them fully grown.

I use large dowels and zip tie them to it loosely as they grow. Got to be 6ft last year

Really? instead of wasting so much time and effort, use the time to plant more tomatoes! Only use 1 vertical string and thats enough.
