I used to have layers, maybe try run some gel down the bottom and it should stick down!

we use gel as we loop it ,and at the bottom just tie it don't plat it , x also you can split the hair into 2 do one side then the opposite way the other side ,evens it out and looks great too

I do braids and dreads on Caucasian hair, use a sticky hairspray, wax, or gel before you braid. although it can make it a bit nippy taking it out if she's tender headed.

Use an oil to smooth before you start I’d use Elvive Oil/serum its amazing & maybe a small bit of hairspray to keep fly aways or Got2be gel stick

use wax or gel as your grabbing each section or as your going through from the start it gets every little ends and bits into the turns keeps it neat x

Actually set the hair, add a bit of leave in conditionner on the ends and then lather the hair in ECO gel, Brush it and there you go
