It can be also used to indicate ownership, as in 저는 자동차가 있어요. (I have a car.) This concept extends beyond objects to include people, such as family or friends. (저는) 언니가 있어요. I have an older sister. (저는) 남자친구가 있어요. I have a boyfriend. ⭐️ How to refer siblings in Korean It depends on your gender and their age.
As a girl: older brother: 오빠 older sister: 언니
