Respectfully, and I know that I’m not the typical example of a man because I’m autistic and grew up in a neglectful environment and always moved all of the time but I kind of resent the vibe of the “male loneliness epidemic” discourse. I never asked to be a victim of the patriarchy I just wanted to fit in all of my life but never could. I was so lonely and depressed as a child that I idealized s—cide. So this new topic comes up called “the male loneliness epidemic” and I think, wow that is an epidemic and I related to it and next thing I know…it’s considered a running joke
