@meadowclarkhome: Don’t make the mistake I did. I saw that shiny little “pre-primed” label and thought I was saving time and money… Joke’s on me for trusting the label. Turns out “pre-primed” really just means “kind of looked at a can of primer once.” Now if you even think about touching our fireplace, the paint scratches, chips, or peels right off. So guess who’s out here repriming and repainting like a boss? Lesson learned: never skip the primer. Even when they pinky promise you it’s already done.
