I wear one of these too! My cartilage came off of my joint and locked my jaw and now with my appliances and stem cell injections in my joints, my cartilage is back in place!

Ugh I feel this. I have TMJ and found out because one morning I woke up with my jaw LOCKED. For 2 weeks. Nothing but smoothies and oatmeal and soup.

I also have a bite splint, I use it a couple times a week and it helps a lot ❤️physical therapy for my weak neck also helped immensely!

I specifically never got braces because I already had TMJD and a dentist friend told my parents it would cause more problems than it would solve. glad you're working toward better health for yourself!

Me too I think I had tmj issues for awhile due to my braces every dentist I go to always asked if I had braces cause my alignment is off and I’m confident it’s from my braces it got worse after my wisdom got extracted 😭

My hud is in the same spot. Had RSV as a baby- messed w/ his teeth & then had extreme tension in his jaw during his military service. Takes forever, but being pain free is worth it!💕
