This strategy works every single time. 🌿 Month 1–3 — Do almost nothing. Walking. Holding your baby. Protecting your hormones. Eating enough protein. After birth, estrogen and progesterone crash, and sleep deprivation spikes cortisol on top of it. The worst thing you can do is stress your body more. So I don’t. Gentle movement, nutrient-dense food, high protein, and time with my baby. That’s it. 🌿 Month 4–6 — Your body starts changing before you even train hard. Because I actually rested, my hormones stabilize faster, and I notice body composition shifting before I’ve even added real training. I add: • Light strength training • Simple resistance work • Consistency over intensity, always 🌿 Month 7–8 — Progressive overload starts. 3x/week strength training becomes the anchor. Recovery is better, hormones are steadier, energy is returning. 🌿 Month 9–10 — Now we push. Weights go up. Intensity goes up. Muscle starts building faster. 🌿 Month 11–12 — This is when it all clicks. Energy. Strength. Body composition. All shifting. Not because I rushed it. Because I worked with my body instead of against it.
