you can use distilled water instead tap water. i think this lessen and helps to avoid molds on air dry clay.

maybe you should mix the clay with salt? that usually prevents it from molding when i make homemade clay

plus, you don't have to fear mold, simply because you used resin to cover jar, any mold already either died or buried under the UV

you sealed that mold spots on the 🥞, but it's safer to change that air dry clay. You use crayola, right? Maybe it's your sign to try another brand, like jovy of das.

I believe uv light kills mold. so I think it should be ok 👍

you can flash sanitize your pieces in a uv lamp, heat them up a little with a hair dryer, or dry them in the sun 🌞. since its covered with uv resin they should be ok!
