Well done, so many people get confused over this and many because the retailer leads them to believe that they will require the box when returning a faulty item within the warranty period

So i work for a supermarket and we are told and trained that the customer requires packaging for change of mind returns. So is it only for damages or faulty etc etc? :)

I never keep the packaging if I have to return it I make them send me. a refund or send me packaging out lol 🤣

What happens if it’s a large item, are you expected to package the item up for return? Is there any onus on the seller to provide packaging for a faulty item?

I bought a phone from Argos and was told if I didn’t like it then I can return it… I used the phone for a week, tried to return as I didn’t like it and they said no because it was used. Is this right?

I did this once when Clas Ohlson was in the UK. Emailed them with my bank statement, they said take the item to the store with no packaging (it broke after a month). They replaced it. Easy 👌

Glad you said @Argos because I bought a hoover. It didn't work and I was refused a refund or exchange. I took it straight back and got embarrassingly fobbed off. NEVER shopped with them since!!!
