This is why highly qualified people are overlooked and it’s a ridiculous way to screen. So, because I can cut, paste and lie, I get an interview. Someone who doesn’t do that is overlooked. 🤦🏽♀️

I heard that it is difficult to get past the robot. I heard a manager applied at the same company he worked for already & the robot didn't pick him as a candidate. You are losing good candidates

I work in recruiting and the only HMs or recruiters that want tailored resumes as opposed to experience based resumes are LAZY. They want to keyword search instead of read the resume.

The problem here is a lot of times applications are on indeed or applications dont allow uploading of resumes.

I agree. I work in an industry that uses ai even internally and it will gatekeep your resume because potentially 100's of applicants for one role. I've been promoted multiple times. It works.

I think young professionals would benefit from taking Microsoft courses such as Excel and Project Planner in LinkedIn courses. it's worth the $37 a month. Self learning sounds great in an interview and on a resume.
