For those who don’t know, Chubs is a 40 year old Amazon who was surrendered after his previous owner, who he had been with his whole life, passed away. While she did love him, she didn’t always make the best choices for him. Chubs was overweight with severe muscle atrophy when he arrived here a few months ago. While he had the ability to fly (he has all of his flight feathers) he lacked the strength and confidence to try. Chubs is currently looking for his forever home.
