Be sure ur completely submerging it in water. It will mold if u don’t. That’s also why the tips are still brown

cats are not deathly allergic unless consumed in very large quantity 2-4 times their body weight. if your kitties start to develop, vomiting, diarrhea or even dehydration they may have gotten into it

If you're in the US this is likely a Resurrection Plant. I was given one by Missionaries at my grandparents place one dinner and it looks the exact same, a real rose is slightly longer (bigger?)
