I think the complaints about crime and homelessness come from people that are from small towns / limited experiences living in other cities. I’ve lived in sooo many major cities in the US and Spokane is my absolute favorite so far. There’s culture, nature, and so much to do.

All the people hating on Spokane are oldies who haven't ventured downtown in a decade. My husband and I go downtown all the time and we love it <3. And it's not even representative of all of Spokane lol.

Went to dry fly distillery and my buddy left his wallet there and we called to see if it was there and bartender said yes and we were well be right there and said we're closed but I'll bring to you and he did tried buy him a drink but he was doing something else that night
