I saw a server trying to hide behind a wall waiting... I faked a bite and she immediately came over. Boy was she shocked that I had no food in my mouth. 😂😂

as a waitress I see it differently. When u see customers all talking, no eating, you think "now!". 0,1 seconds before u Ask, Every single customer takes a bite. I feel they Make IT on purpose.🙈

it's bc we're need you to have started eating before we can ask and instead of staring at your table we tend to only notice when you're taking a bite and get there too quickly GOD we're only human
