Original Mac brushes weee the absolute best. Hakuhodo will blend chalk they are so good. I do really like my rephyr but I favour the hakuhodo. However I am not an expert

I 3 MAC brushes (a 210, a 195 & a 226) that say “Made in France.” I’ve never heard anyone mention why there’s French production but it overlapped with Japanese production.

I’m 26 this year and I have 10 217s that I still use to this day that I bought in my early 20s. Mac brushes last forever if you treat them well.
