I had to get a notorized letter for university stating i speak fluent English because I went to high-school overseas in ENGLAND. like im born and raised ENGLISH please give me a break 😅😂

This happened to a girl in my grad class. She was born on Hawaii. North Dakota made her prove she could speak English.

Girl email/write a letter to the Ohio board of education.. I did this with my tuition costs and they personally called me and said no one ever did what I did and I saved myself $10k for tuition

Ohio public schools made me take the TOEFL when I moved there in high school because I was foreign born and English was not my first language even after I tested into AP English.

Our hospital system is making people take a test to prove they know Spanish I'm order to speak to patients/families in Spanish.

That’s normal around the world. You have a degree that was earned in a primarily non English speaking place - so you gotta prove your language skills. No sweat :)

Girl I was also born in Philly, moved to Florida for 4th grade,made the mistake of saying my first language was Spanish. All in perfect English. They made me take a test to prove I could speak Eng. 🙄
