actually, only time CNA can be charged with abandonment if they left home health patient alone. Long as there is a LPN on the unit, it’s not considered abandonment. 😉

Can’t be charged with abandonment if there is still a nurse on the floor. (Depending on the state you live in patient ratios for nurses are higher than for a CNA, if the CNA even has a regulated ratio

ADMIN is the problem they’re the ones trying to give CNAs and nurses as many residents as possible with the least amount of resources as possible. They do not care about resident outcomes or you.

I don’t disagree with wearing red. Red scrubs are not a typical uniform in a healthcare setting in my experience. So when people randomly wear it, ppl will ask questions which spreads awareness :)
