Big news from @OpenAI - not only are they launching their brand new AI model GPT 5.6 Sol, but they are merging Codex into the ChatGPT desktop app. Comment “ChatGPT” for the full guide and let me know in the comments what you’d like me to cover. On desktop, there are now three ways to use ChatGPT: Quick Chat, Codex, and the newly introduced, ChatGPT Work. ChatGPT Work is a new agent that can take action across your apps and files, stay with a project for hours (and hours and hours) if needed, and turn a goal into finished work. And its all powered by GPT 5.6, which excels in two key areas: Writing: it is an incredible collaborator for producing content scripts, marketing emails, etc. UI Design: it seems to have a real design “intuition.” It makes surprisingly good choices in hierarchy, composition, motion etc that I haven’t yet seen in another model.
