I believe Max was still in Monaco until very recently based on flight records of his jet. It’s also not the first time Kelly has had a child on a race weekend and the father still raced (2019 Germany)

Kvyat was still racing after P was born & so was Checo after his 4th child was born. Being a father doesn't mean Max will retire. Especially when he's in his prime years right now.
