I thought it was proven that putting not dirt stuff at the bottom does not do what this vid claims? Anyway i water from the bottom and my plants tell me when theyre done drinking. 👌

Most of my pots have holes in the bottom, I put a piece of screen on the bottom of the pot that way it can drain.

Nah just use the correct type of substrate to prevent rot from happening. Also in my 20+yrs I’ve never done rocks or anything at the bottom. Never killed a single plant interior or exterior 🤣

I use broken up crock eg plates, cups that are chipped and don't need anymore and line them at the bottom of the pot.
