I doubt Kaylee would crawl to the corner of the bed and turn her body to him during the attack. She was definitely already in bed based on her moms description of her being “slumped” in the corner

So this is just a theory but what if Maddie was not the intended target. If in fact they were in the same bed what if Maddie was first to eliminate witnesses or kind of like “saving the best for last” type thing. Idk to me the fact that Kaylee was significantly beaten indicates a personal attack and some type of hyper focus. 🤷🏻♀️

I don’t think they were both in the bed, mostly because of Murphy. I feel like Kaylee could’ve heard something or Murphy barked and then Kaylee got up and went to check and that’s when she was killed
