I have the same filter, but please get a socket set on the end of a drill so you can get to those filters 10 times quicker😎

I’m about to do this for my first time. Random but there was a video where the lid blew off because of the pressure. Was that because they forgot to open the valves back up and pump flood the filter with air ? Want to avoid blowing the lid off and sending it 100 feet into the air

If you live where’s there a lot of blowing dirt. Cartridge filters suck! Sand works a lot better! In the city areas I’m sure those cartridge filters work great!

Pool company told me years ago to measure the length of the spring before you loosen, then tighten it back up to the same so you don’t over tighten or under tighten

I have a Hayward - very similar. I'll add: rinse out the cartridge drum before plugging it back up. I also prefil the drum with my hose before sealing back up
