Walmart is the only store that doesn't have tap pay and tap pay is safer because they send an encrypted code to your bank instead of putting your card number through, Walmart needs to do better

I work for debit card fraud.. it is not affiliated with Wal Mart. fraud happens constantly everywhere. the technology of hacking is through the roof like everything in this world.

This isn’t a Walmart issue. This is a breach in your card’s security. It could have happened anywhere. I’ve had it happen at gas stations and at a small shop.

This is why I keep 95% of my money in savings and when I check out I transfer what I need (total of purchase) up to checking. It takes a few extra minutes but I’ve been hacked twice before I started

I had this happen to me and Walmart blamed the bank saying it was them that got hacked. thank God my bank has a very good fraud department.

My story is basically the same. Walmart was not to blame though the fraud started there. It went on to Amazon, PayPal, and attempted loans. This could have been shortened by half though.

I live in Louisville KY and my chime card was hacked by Walmart as well someone in Arizona tried using it, so I called chime and had them to block all Walmarts so no other transactions can occur.

I don't work for Walmart anymore, but they all have cameras pointing at the register so we all should cover the keypad, ( think people )their looking at the key pad also. 🤔

same thing happened to us in Texas. but from a Lowes. they almost got 600 from us. but our credit union cut off the card instantly and credited our account right away. card was flagged as stolen.
