Great first try!!! The wick may not be correct for the size of the jar, measure the diameter of the jar and then you need to use the wick size that suits the diameter for example 70mm =pt70

Next time when removing the last bit of wax, just boil the kettle and put hot water in. It all melts and floats to the top and as soon as it cools it you can pop it out in a disc

Like others have said, your wick is the wrong size. Also look at the Fragrance oil load that your wax can take, typically it is up to 10%. So cute!

My lemon candle the exact same one from Kmart had a lovely scent when burnt maybe I just got a good one it wasn’t very strong but burning it beside me I could smell it but either way I think this my sign to finally make my own candles
