Pull it off the burner, turn the burner off, and step away, that’s what the hood fan is for, to prevent the fire from spreading too quickly, and there’s isn’t nearly enough in that pan to keep it burning for more than a minute at worst, as the fire becomes smaller dropping a hard lid on top would stop it faster, a fire blanket is very much a last step from when the actual stove itself catches, or if your cooking something like sugar that won’t stop burning, but remember, you can not eat food after throwing a fire blanket in it
