My two roosters are not aggressive to me at all but they are not overly friendly they both stay a distance away and sometimes come for treats otherwise they focus on there girls

Here in Mexico, there’s a phrase that goes “s/he ate rooster this morning” for when someone is unusually aggressive. I was told young that eating these angry roosters gives you a spike of irritability. We had good roosters though so idk

I wish more folks understood that the “aggression” is a fear response. It’s amazing how quickly you can ruin a rooster by misunderstanding what he’s trying to tell you.
