When I’ve been away for a while I don’t like the smell I come back to, and I have had to accept it’s just the musty closed up smell because I can’t find a way to stop it but I live in fear it smells

My nose keeps resetting for 1 minute after I walk into my home from shopping or similar. I smell *everything* and then poof its gone😂 Useful if I forgot the foodtrash bc im instantly reminded🤠

If you know you have guests coming over, you could light a candle/diffuser/incense a few hours before and periodically change it's place and put it out with enough time to make sure it still smells +

oh I get migraines so bad from plug ins thank you. I do ask them to open a window but it's not enough. stronf perfume can do this fir me on public transport.

Dude I hate my house, no one’s allowed in, it’s a mess. Dog definitely makes it stink worse, I bath I’m 1x a month. But just nothings clean.

chef candles do odour eliminating candles which are really good for pet smell and don't have perfume scents! migraines triggered by perfume for me

what I do is air out my apartment twice or more a day, take out the trash (organic) every other day, clean everything once a week and make sure that your sink is empty and clean every day

For incense I can really recommend Japanese incense as well. They burn a lot cleaner and they smell AMAZING. They're smaller and shorter too

my partner absolutely *loathes* chemical air fresheners, but loves woodsy incense and scented candles as long as it's subtle-ish

You could use Infusions (like a simmer pot) when cleaning and it helps with the smell but it also won't be too strong or too chemical (aka, if you clean something with a damp cloth)

👏🏼👏🏼This was so insightful and filled with so many ideas.👏🏼👏🏼A smell/scent I love is the smell of coffee. I keep the grounds and add water. Boil it for a couple minutes on the stove and I love it.🤷🏻♀️
