@sophiemorrisofficial: Not all in-store bakery rolls are created equal! 🥖 I was genuinely surprised to find this in Tesco’s bakery section—a 4-pack of ciabatta rolls with a great ingredients list for a supermarket roll! Flour, water, extra virgin olive oil, yeast, salt, semolina - simple ingredients and without the usual supermarket bread ingredients like palm oil, sugar or emulsifiers! Compare that to the panini rolls sitting right beside them which look like a very similar product, and they DO contain palm oil, added sugar and emulsifiers. Seeing an option like this arrive in the bakery section makes me feel like Tesco might be starting to listen?! 👀 I certainly feel hopeful!!
