Is really important to make a good diagnosis. it's not just about to get straight teeth. We as a orthodontist have to fix a sistem. TMJ, occlusion, bone structure, muscles, respiratory tract, and last the aesthetic. But the function is always first! ⬇️

Braces don’t In themselves cause issues. Narrow palates do. If you just get braces as an adult it moves the teeth only. If you get an expander with braces as a kid it fixes palate and crooked teeth. But this device also just moves teeth. It does nothing for a narrow palate or compromised airway. Unless it pushes the lower jaw forward while you sleep which it does not appear to do
