One of the most frustrating things about having hypothyroidism and Hashimotos is how much differing information I get! My dr says the opposite of this.No doctor I’ve seen takes it seriously .

They misdiagnosed me with bipolar for many years. Didn’t discover Hashimotos until I was hospitalized for mydexma coma. Then the lithium gave me seizures. This is a real thing, didn’t have a mental disorder. I had untreated Hashimotos and no one had ever checked my thyroid ever before I was in the coma

Born with congenital hypothyroidism and yes I drove my poor Mother crazy with my mood as a teen 😬 diagnosed bpd at 15 ptsd bipolar mixed at 37. 40 now and I’m still moody 😬👍❤️💯
