That’s not what credit cycling is. Credit cycling is when you spend up to your credit limit and pay it off multiple times in the month. Capital One is not closing accounts for “no reason.”

The issue is credit cycling. These people are making their credit card, paying it down and repeating the process in the same cycle. It's a red flag for banks.

This has a lot to do with the Bank Secrecy Act. “Credit Cycling” will flag internal. Doing this can be an indication of money laundering activities, even when that’s not what really is happening.

paying off more than once a month is just silly behavior. theres no reason to do that other than poor financial management. if you cant manage a card for a full billing cycle, thats viewed suspicious

Chase closed my cc account because I never used it. I kept that one just in case of emergency so I never used it. Sooo it’s best to use cc occasionally if you want to keep it

I have 81 accounts total - 7 credit cards with Capital One. They definitely will reduce limits for no reason and/or balance chase you. None of mine have been closed but diversity is key.
