Those robots are a type of robot called a “cobot” for collaborative robot. They sense when they come in contact with something and stop. Safe to work around and even stop by getting in the arms way.

Like they’re not elevator doors that stop when in proximity to someone. They are preprogrammed to do specific movements and they will do them regardless of obstacles unless turned off.

They are probably collaborative robotic arms they are designed to work with humans. If she touches them they should stop.

yes. yes they have sensors that measure back pressure and stop immediately. they couldn't even bruise you unless you ran into them full speed. They would not be anywhere near a stage if they didn't.

Mind you… her Choreo with these robotic arms (without no sensors includes) has a lot of head whipping so temporary loss of sight while trying to keep track of these arms to not get hit 🤷🏾♀️😭

I agree. Major safety issue. But it is very clear that practice helped. She knew enough to judge within a margin of error. Also when you see her smile at the end to me she's saying damn I'm good.
