I had my helix done and it never healed until I put a sleeper hoop in it then magically it healed! Despite all the piercers saying not to :)

First mistake was a cartilage on both sides at the same time. Most piercers won’t agree to that

I doubt the angles were pierced like that. It would’ve been because you didn’t downsize your bars after 6 weeks. Irreversible damage unfortunately

Have you slept on them? That will also angle the shit out of them. I’ve pierced for 10 years number one problem. Or yes they could have pierced them

They weren’t pierced on an angle. You just didn’t go back and get them downsized which means they move around and cause irritation bumps.

Don’t blame the piercer mate - did you go back to downsize? Did you follow proper aftercare? Ears can reject at anytime… it’s not always a piercer.

before you give up completely, try titanium sleeper rings, you can get little snug ones, but every single time I have keloids I switch to a ring and within 2 weeks it's gone and they're magically fine

What does the back look like I had this issues for like 7 months and changed to a flat back, proper silver (hypoallergenic), and it healed within 3 weeks after changing the piercing and had no issues

Don’t give them up!! I know the pain too well. You can heal those bumps - I’ve had them on almost every cartilage piercing I’ve had. You can use antiseptic soap to clean them and if you’re consistent the bumps should go away in 1-2 weeks. Also it’s 9 months too late (and you may have already tried this) but you can sleep sideways with an airplane pillow with your ear in the middle/hole of the pillow!
