@alexsfoodieadventures: The Alpine Hotel, Warburton The Alpine Hotel in Warburton is the best place for a beautiful pub feed, the hotel is located opposite the gorgeous Yarra River & is home to gorgeous walks & bike trails! The hotel was established in 1885 and underwent extensive restoration by the new owner’s Rach & Anthony! The menu at their restaurant focuses on local Yarra Valley Produce & has a gorgeous country charm! Here’s an overview of what we had: 🦀 Shark Bay blue swimmer crab arancini with a saffron rouille: fantastic and such a different take on arancini! Loved this 🥩 300g O’Connors scotch fillet with timbarra farm potatoes, carrot puree, red wine jus & sorrel: perfectly cooked steak and the most heavenly potatoes too 🦐 Linguine prawns with roast chilli, lemon & salted ricotta: perfectly salted & the perfect balance of chilli & lemon A fantastic pub that truly showcases the best produce of the region! The food here is fantastic, it is classic pub service where you go up and purchase your meal at the counter! It far surpassed my expectations. Definitely a spot to visit!
