Hate when members say "The church is true, but the members aren't!" Actually in my experience it's totally opposite, most members have the best hearts and are so nice, but the corporate church is not true and does bad things like hiding child sexual abuse, gaslighting about history, hiding billions of dollars, etc, etc.

As i was leaving the church, and my husband was divorcing me because I wouldn’t go to the temple he literally said to me “the problem with you is youve always had a mind of your own”. No joke 🤣🤣

Yep. I’ve had to deconstruct this with my parents still. I’m intuitively and instinctively finding myself easing away from time around and much communication with my parents. For the first time ever I’m letting my nervous system guide the way on that one. I know I’m the villain in a lot of stories…but I’m more at peace than ever. Cheering us all on. We’ve got this.
