I was raised like this and the bad thing is it made me want to leave home, want to grow up and leave, and as soon as a turned 18 I moved out, good thing is it made who I am today. 🥹 I wish I could have been a kid longer.

You are raising a provider. Unlike guys from the current generation that want their parents to still provide for them at the 30+ years old age. Your guys are doing great momma!

My husband and I have been told we are super strict with our kids. Yet our kids do not have to be told they need to pick up after themselves. They just do it without hesitation. They clean, cook and everything so they dont have to depend on anybody but themselves to get those things done. ❤️

to everyone saying you’re raising a provider..no ur not. they’ll both be burnt out by 18 and not have the energy to do anything for themselves. bc they spent their entire childhood doing for YOU.

One of the best things we can teach our kids is that not everything comes easy, some things have to be earned. Whether it’s toys, privileges, trust and even food!!!

If they’re not taught, they won’t learn👏🏽 My boys spend every other Sunday at my dads helping out with “chores” & my daughter as well😌

My mom had me clean every Saturday with her. Did I hate it? Yes. But you’ll NEVER find my spaces dirty. Too many young kids don’t know how to keep a clean space and it’s an essential life skill

Those are great ages to teach that. I work in a middle school and responsibility needs to be taught at that age.

Aww.. I love this. Most kids don’t understand work or helping out. And for the ones who say do they have time to be kids? Ignore that, your kids look genuinely happy.
